Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience to join a specialist manufacturer in Witney. You will design mechanical components and assemblies from concept to manufacture, ensuring robust, manufacturable designs.

You will produce manufacturing drawings and documentation, work closely with production teams, and support new product development with GD&T compliance and clear engineering records.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience producing 3D CAD models and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Support new product development and updates, ensuring design for manufacture.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and assembly teams to ensure designs are buildable.
