Due to ongoing client wins and impressive growth, DAC Beachcroft's Casualty Injury team is seeking a Supervisor to join us.
Our team specializes in employers' liability and public liability claims, handling claims valued up to £100k, with supervisors and senior lawyers managing larger cases. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, supportive environment with comprehensive training, managing a diverse range of EL/PL claims. You will develop technical expertise, improve time management skills, and expand your professional network.

What you will do?
Manage and supervise a small team of Paralegals handling volume litigated EL/PL cases, ensuring effective support and oversight. Responsibilities include:
- Technical supervision of claims
- Conducting interim and performance reviews
- Managing absence and wellbeing
- Communicating with senior management
- Motivating and engaging the team
- Supporting team development and career progression
- Monitoring financial performance and targets
- Ensuring files are managed proactively and deadlines met
- Overseeing legal work to meet client and firm needs
- Addressing emerging risks or compliance issues in collaboration with the Team Partner
- Allocating work effectively within the team
- Handling complaints and escalated issues appropriately
Additional responsibilities include:
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, supporting marketing and business development activities
- Managing a caseload of EL/PL claims
- Staying informed about the firm's strategies and plans
- Maintaining technical knowledge through training and reading
- Handling confidential information per data security protocols
Who you are
- A Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal, preferably with supervision experience, ideally in Personal Injury but open to other backgrounds
- Experience handling EL/PL, personal injury, or similar cases
- Strong compliance with SLAs, protocols, and KPIs
- Excellent people management skills
- Proficient in IT, especially Excel and Word
- Organized with good prioritization skills
- Analytical with critical thinking ability
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilient and receptive to feedback
- Quick learner with aptitude for acquiring new skills
