Croydon Council is seeking a full-time Property Lawyer to play a key strategic role in delivering quality legal services. The role covers Property, Planning and Local Government Law with experience handling high-value matters and building strong relationships with directors and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have experience of property law; as well as a proven track record of building and sustaining effective relationships with directorates and senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a varied and intellectually challenging caseload. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to work across all areas of Property, Planning and Local Government Law, including significant experience managing high value and complex matters.
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEX), with significant experience in the areas of Property, Planning & Local Government Law. Ideally you will have worked in local government, but we also welcome applications from those who come from the private sector and work with the local government sector.
Croydon Council is a hybrid working organisation and supports flexible and remote working. This role has minimum office attendance requirements.
