Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

We're currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our Partnership, Wills & Probate team based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will join our Partner Emma McCanns' team, specifically our estate planning division. The team ensures our clients’ wealth is protected for them and their families by structuring assets in a tax-efficient manner, ensuring future provision. We offer comprehensive legal and tax expertise to help plan effectively for the future and are experienced in handling complex estates, often with international elements.

The role includes, but is not limited to, advising on, drafting, and executing wills; setting up and administering trusts; advising on investments and wealth-holding structures; and succession planning to ensure our clients’ businesses continue to thrive.

About You

We're seeking a Solicitor/Legal Executive passionate about estate planning, with proven experience in handling complex estates or working with high net worth individuals. Our ideal candidate will possess:

• The ability to take instructions from clients and provide sound legal advice;
• Experience assisting seniors with high-value, complex cases;
• Capability to manage own caseloads with attention to detail and seamless service;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes;
• Technical experience in estate planning, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts;
• An aptitude for business development, building strong client and referrer relationships, and contributing to team growth.
