Job Description:

Solicitor – Personal Injury (Work and Public Place Injury)

Glasgow City Centre, Hybrid Working

Full-time, Permanent

Competitive salary + great benefits

Are you a driven Personal Injury Solicitor committed to securing justice and compensation for clients who have suffered workplace or public place injuries? We are seeking a talented Solicitor to join a dynamic Work & Public Place Injury (WPPI) Team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to clients’ lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Solicitor within the WPPI team, you will handle a varied caseload of litigated and pre-litigation claims. You will guide clients through the full life cycle of their cases—from initial enquiry to resolution, negotiation, and, where necessary, court proceedings.

You will:

  • Investigate complex factual and legal issues relating to work and public place injury claims
  • Provide clear advice and support to clients throughout the process
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Work collaboratively with Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants
  • Support and mentor junior team members

Candidates at all levels of post-qualification experience will be considered. Ideally, you will have experience in pursuing personal injury claims in the Sheriff Court, All Scotland Personal Injury Court, and Court of Session, including written and oral advocacy and instructing Counsel.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A practicing Scottish Solicitor with at least 1 year of experience in a personal injury role
  • Experienced in representing pursuers in personal injury matters in the Sheriff Courts
  • Skilled in advocacy, legal research, and drafting legal documents
  • Client-focused, compassionate, and able to build strong relationships
  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Well-organised, commercially aware, and able to meet deadlines and targets
