Working in a hybrid style, based at home and at 21 City Square, Dundee, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have an LLB Degree in Scots Law and a Diploma in Legal Practice.

Responsibilities

You will assist in providing all legal and associated services to the Council, its Committees, Services, staff, and, where appropriate, to any organization in which the Council has an interest. This includes advising and representing the Council in court proceedings, tribunals, inquiries, licensing, and all matters related to the protection of vulnerable adults and children.

The Individual

You will have completed your legal traineeship and possess relevant experience. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. You should also have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.

You should be willing to undertake appropriate job-related training if required and be flexible and adaptable to change.

A Level 2 - Standard Disclosure Scotland Check is required.
