Solicitor / Legal Executive - Industrial Disease

Experienced Fee Earner - This Legal 500 Law firm is seeking an experienced fee earner to join its specialist disease litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and technical area of litigation, focusing on defending various disease claims.

Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £50,000

Previous Experience: A background in disease claims

About the Role

The successful applicant will handle a wide variety of Employer's Liability & Public Liability Disease claims including respiratory and lung diseases, skin diseases, vibration injuries, and occupational cancer, including asbestos-related diseases.

The firm boasts an impressive client base, including insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, local authorities, and corporates. Experience in disease claims is highly desirable.

Alongside managing and progressing a caseload of litigated disease-related injury claims, you will:

• Conduct investigations, take witness statements, and review medical records and reports
• Collaborate with a large, experienced disease team
• Handle various tasks on behalf of insurers, reinsurers, and government authorities
• Identify evidence requirements and liaise with third parties for documentation
• Support Partners in growing and maintaining client relationships
• Provide a high level of client service, ensuring professional service delivery at all stages
