Solicitor / Legal Executive - Industrial Disease

Experienced Fee Earner - This Legal 500 Law firm is seeking an experienced fee earner to join its specialist disease litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and technical area of litigation, focusing on the defense of various disease claims.

Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £55,000

Previous Experience: A background in disease claims

About the Role

The successful applicant will handle a wide variety of Employer's Liability & Public Liability Disease claims, including respiratory and lung disease, skin disease, vibration injuries, and occupational cancer, including asbestos-related diseases.

The firm boasts an impressive client base, including insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, local authorities, and corporates. Experience in disease claims is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of litigated disease-related injury claims, conducting investigations, taking witness statements, reviewing medical records and reports, collaborating with a large, experienced disease team, handling work for insurers, reinsurers, and government authorities, identifying evidence requirements, liaising with third parties, supporting Partners in client relationship management, and providing high-level client service.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for experienced personal injury or civil litigators, ideally with a background in disease claims or Employers' liability claims.
