Job summary

Weightmans offers two apprenticeship routes beginning in September 2027: a Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship (six years) combining academic study with hands-on experience to qualify as a solicitor, and a Paralegal Apprenticeship (two years) leading to a Paralegal qualification. One day per week is off‑the‑job learning at BPP University Law School, with extensive seat rotations in our legal teams.

Qualifications

• Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship: aged 16–21 or under 25 with an EHCP/care leaver status at start.
• Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship: 120 UCAS points and at least five GCSEs grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
• Paralegal Apprenticeship: 96 UCAS points and at least five GCSEs grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
• Contextual recruitment system (Dandi) may adjust grade requirements based on personal circumstances.
