Fletchers Solicitors Ltd has a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Clinical Negligence Team.

We specialise in Clinical Negligence and are seeking someone eager to play a key role in supporting various teams within the department. The role involves 25% case work and 75% supporting other teams, with hybrid work arrangements and some travel to Manchester, Liverpool, and Southport as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Discussing and planning case tactics with the Team Leader
  • Ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and proactively
  • Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, third-party solicitors, and insurers
  • Managing pre and post-issue procedures cost-effectively
  • Understanding the full case lifecycle across various specialisms
  • Pursuing cases to conclusion
  • Delivering excellent client service and legal outcomes
  • Monitoring KPIs and case progression using data
  • Utilising processes, workflows, and case dashboards effectively
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Versatility to handle cases from others and identify key focus areas
  • Adaptability to unknown cases and ability to make progress
  • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office
  • Teamwork skills and adaptability to change
  • Excellent attention to detail

Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Legal qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Proclaim or other case management systems

We may close this role early depending on candidate quality and volume.
