Telford & Wrekin Council is recruiting a qualified solicitor to join the Safeguarding team on a two-year fixed term contract. The role provides legal advice and support to officers, elected members and external clients, with a hybrid pattern requiring two days in the office weekly (currently Wednesdays and Thursdays) and flexible working options.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract.

The Lexcel-accredited Legal Team provides legal advice, assistance and support to Council officers, elected members and external clients at all levels. With a supportive and positive working culture, Telford & Wrekin Council can offer you this exciting opportunity for a one year fixed term contract, to protect some of our most vulnerable residents.

The Safeguarding team has a hybrid working pattern, with an expectation of two days based in the office in Telford. Currently these days are Wednesdays and Thursdays. Applicants are required to be qualified as solicitors with a valid practicing certificate.
