A leading international legal company in the UK is looking for a qualified solicitor to join their Complex Property team. You will manage high-value subrogated recovery claims and policy coverage disputes while maintaining strong client relationships. The role offers flexible working, a well-rounded remuneration package, and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will have experience in property insurance law and be team-oriented.
The “Complex Property” team is part of the wider “Property” service line, which in turn sits within the firm’s “Claims Solutions Group”. The team acts for a large number of insurer clients, undertaking some of their highest value, highest profile and most challenging work. We are currently looking for new colleagues to join us either on a permanent basis or fixed term contract for 12 months.
The work falls into three broad categories: (i) subrogated recovery claims (typically over £250,000); (ii) defendant public liability property damage claims; and (iii) policy coverage both advisory work and disputes. In short, the team deals with disputes and problems arising out of fires, floods, storms, escapes of water, escapes of oil, explosions, impact damage (basically any way in which a property might become damaged).
We are currently looking for 2 new colleagues, one being permanent and one being a 12 month fixed term contract. The team will consider applications Nationwide.
