About the role:

The primary role of a (Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Litigation Executive) is to represent and defend clients' legal interests and provide specialist advice in the areas of Industrial Disease, MOD, and Personal Injury claims. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, dealing with complex cases, liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, Counsel, and experts, analyzing evidence, and advising clients.

Key duties:

  • Manage a caseload of both pre and post litigated claims
  • Handle complex and high-value cases
  • Communicate with clients, insurers, solicitors, and liaise with Counsel and experts
  • Analyze evidence and develop case strategies
  • Provide high-quality legal services and manage a high volume caseload
  • Interview witnesses and prepare witness statements as needed
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and appointments

Client Relations:

  • Provide quality legal advice and develop good client relationships
  • Handle requests for legal advice and represent clients in court when required

Professional Standards:

  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to standards set by the SRA
  • Carry out duties diligently and follow instructions
  • Stay updated with legal changes
  • Record chargeable hours and meet service agreements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law or equivalent, preferably 2:1 or above
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Personal Injury, Industrial Disease, or MOD claims
  • Current Practicing Certificate if applicable
  • Experience in a professional services firm
