Job summary

DWF is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join our team in the UK on a flexible, hybrid basis. You will work with HR teams, in-house counsel and senior leadership to deliver practical employment law advice for a diverse client base, from SMEs to multinationals.

You will handle a varied caseload, advise on TUPE and corporate transactions, and contribute to business development while working in a collaborative, inclusive environment across regional offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Employment Law and advising employer clients.
• Experience handling own caseload and managing contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Experience advising on TUPE and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Experience with employment tribunal matters and case management.
• Experience working in or with national/international practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on TUPE, restructures, contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance matters, and senior exits.
• Support transactional teams on employment aspects of M&A and corporate transactions.

• Support junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities.

Essential

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Employment Law.
• Experience gained within a national, international or well-regarded regional practice would be advantageous.
• Strong experience in employment law and advising employer clients.
• Experience managing their own caseload.
• Employment tribunal and dispute management experience.
• Experience advising on TUPE and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• A commercial, collaborative approach and excellent organisational skills.
