We're currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor/Associate to join our Employment team based from our Leeds office. The successful candidate will be joining our Partner Jenny Arrowsmith's team, specialists in all areas of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law. The team advise businesses and individuals, with a focus on respondent work. Our clients vary from SMEs to large household name companies and are across a wide variety of sectors including manufacturing, consumer, hospitality, education and charities. Our national employment team is made up of over 60 individuals and we are growing year on year, the work we do has been recognised with awards including a third nomination for Personnel Today, Employment Law Firm of the Year 2023, something we're proud to have won twice.
The role will include, but is not limited to, providing advisory services to clients, specifically across employee relation matters such as redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances, settlement agreements, TUPE, absence management, discrimination, whistleblowing and employee status issues. We also regularly get involved in project work for clients - corporate support, training programmes on topics such as sexual harassment, equality and diversity or performance management and undertake a lot of Employment Tribunal claims.
