We are seeking a talented and driven Solicitor or Associate with experience in Agriculture and Rural Property Law to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly regarded department that advises a diverse client base including landowners, estates, farmers, and rural businesses.

The Role

You’ll join a busy, well-established team, working on a varied caseload including:

  • Buying and selling farms, estates and country houses
  • Agricultural tenancies, farm business structures and succession planning
  • Rights of way, easements, sporting and equestrian leases
  • Renewable energy projects, natural capital and biodiversity enhancements
  • Estate planning for landowners and families

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a solicitor with:

  • 1-5 years’ PQE in property law – ideally with some exposure to agricultural or rural property
  • Sharp technical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • A collaborative, client-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambition to grow, learn and progress through our internal TOP (Trethowans Opportunities for Progression) framework.
  • Bonus points if you’ve handled renewable energy on rural land, farm tenancies, or equine projects.
