Job summary

Irwin Mitchell LLP is seeking a Solicitor to join the Asbestos & Occupational Disease Team in Sheffield or Manchester. You will manage your own litigated caseload while collaborating with Partners and senior colleagues on high-value matters, delivering compassionate, expert guidance to clients and families at difficult times.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years' PQE with asbestos and occupational disease experience
• Ability to work with empathy and integrity
• Experience managing your own caseload and supporting Partners on high-value cases
• A clear enthusiasm for asbestos/occupational disease work and achieving best outcomes
• Aptitude for business development and building client/referrer relationships
• Excellent oral and written communication, including drafting and research

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied asbestos and occupational disease caseload
• Collaborate with colleagues across Newcastle and Leeds offices
