Job description: We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Immigration Solicitor to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in handling complex immigration matters, with a particular focus on Judicial Review, Asylum, Modern Slavery, and Unlawful Detention cases.

This role involves working closely with clients on often sensitive and time-critical issues, providing clear, strategic legal guidance and robust representation in accordance with current immigration laws and evolving case law. The role includes the option to work from home regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to:

• Judicial Review applications
• Asylum claims and appeals
• Modern Slavery referrals (NRM) and related applications
• Provide expert legal advice and representation on complex immigration matters, particularly involving Judicial Review, Asylum, Modern Slavery, and Unlawful Detention
• Ensure compliance with SRA and Legal Aid Agency regulations
• Oversee the preparation and progression of cases, including coordinating with caseworkers and supervising documentation
• Stay informed on legislative changes and case law developments affecting immigration and public law

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (minimum 3 years PQE preferred)
• Proven experience handling Judicial Review and public law immigration matters
• In-depth knowledge of asylum procedures, trafficking protections, and detention-related issues
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
