Argyll and Bute Council is seeking a diligent and motivated Solicitor to join its Procurement team for a 1-year maternity cover.

You will advise on commercial contracts and procurement law to support council services.

Requirements include a law degree (LLB), a Diploma in Legal Practice or equivalent, and a qualified solicitor status with (or eligible for) an unrestricted Practising Certificate from the Law Society of Scotland.

Candidates should have experience working independently, strong communication and IT skills, and a good knowledge of relevant legislation.
