Looking for a change of direction?

We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy legal team working on Child Protection matters.

Whilst experience is welcomed, it is not essential, as training will be given.

Enthusiasm to learn and to achieve the best outcomes for the most vulnerable children in our area is critical. Again, although advocacy experience is helpful, an enthusiasm to develop these skills is more important.

The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as is the ability, where necessary, to work under your own initiative. In return, the successful candidate will be provided with a supportive team, where development and training are a priority.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Please note that if an employee who is currently at risk of redundancy within the organisation applies for this vacancy their application will receive priority. If this happens you will be advised accordingly.
