The successful Solicitor will join a firm known for its client-focused approach and strong legal reputation. Based in a centrally located London office, the role offers the chance for a dedicated Solicitor to develop within a collaborative team, contributing to the continued success of the property department.
The Solicitor will be responsible for managing a broad range of property transactions from instruction to completion. Typical work includes sales and purchases, leasehold and freehold matters, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and advising clients on landlord and tenant issues. The Solicitor will liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and opposing solicitors, ensuring that all transactions are progressed efficiently and within deadlines.
A strong understanding of conveyancing processes and commercial leases is essential. The successful Solicitor will demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving legal matters while ensuring excellent client service.
To be considered for this Solicitor role, you must be qualified to practise in England and Wales with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in property law. Both residential and commercial property experience will be advantageous.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales)
Minimum 2 years' PQE in property law
Ability to manage your own caseload independently
Strong knowledge of HM Land Registry and SDLT processes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
