Sole Payroll Manager

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee payroll reporting and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
  • Address employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain payroll system updates and improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sole Payroll Manager should have:

  • A strong background in payroll management within a professional setting.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems - Excel competent
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of current payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating within a sole payroll position
  • Happy to commute to numerous sites within the West London area (Hayes)
