Pertemps Gloucester is seeking a Soldering & Crimping Operative in Stonehouse, Gloucester. The role involves hand soldering, machine and hand crimping, building wiring harnesses and reading customer drawings to ensure quality.

You will follow written instructions and work as part of a busy production team in a reputable electrical assembly business. The position offers a temp-to-perm path after 12–13 weeks, with a competitive hourly rate and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in wiring harness, cable or electrical assembly.
• Soldering and/or crimping experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow written instructions.
• Quality-focused and detail-oriented.
• Reliable and able to work independently or in a team.
• Successful completion of a practical trade test at interview.

Soldering & Crimping Operative wanted in Stonehouse, Gloucester, paying £13.08 to £13.69 per hour, working Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 16:15pm and Friday 07:30am - 12:15pm. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity. Looking for your next manufacturing opportunity? Requirements:

• Previous experience within wiring harness, cable assembly, electrical assembly or a similar industry
• Strong soldering and/or machine or hand crimping experience
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow written instructions
• A quality focused approach with pride in your work
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Successful completion of a practical trade test at interview stage
