Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd in Skelmersdale is recruiting a Production Operative for a busy manufacturing facility. You will assemble circuit boards, perform wiring and cabling tasks, read technical drawings and conduct soldering and quality checks.

Soldering experience or training is essential; previous production experience is desirable. You will work Monday to Friday with hours: Mon–Thu 08:30–17:00, Fri 08:30–16:00, and safety boots and glasses must be worn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build circuit boards to required specifications.
• Complete wiring and cable preparation tasks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and build instructions.
• Carry out soldering and assembly work accurately.
• Conduct testing and quality checks on completed products.
• Identify and report faults or issues during assembly.
• Pack completed products safely and correctly for dispatch.
• Ensure all work meets quality and production standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
