An excellent opportunity for an experienced Soldering Production Operative to join a well-established company working within Cable Assembly.

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent.
Salary: £11.44 Per Hour.
Location: Cwmbran NP44.
Working Hours: 16-37.5 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday.

About The Role:
The company are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their dynamic team. This role involves precision work, including crimping, soldering, and assembling a wide array of cable products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in all production outputs.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Assemble cables and wire harnesses according to specific drawings and specifications.
2. Perform crimping and soldering tasks to secure connections and ensure functionality.
3. Inspect and test cables and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
5. Document production details and report any issues to the production supervisor.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role preferred.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
3. Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment.
4. Keen attention to detail and a focus on quality.
5. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
6. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
