We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Soldering Operative to join our growing Foundry Team.

In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

Meticulously soldering brass parts using specialized techniques to ensure strong, aesthetically pleasing finishes.

What you are already great at:
  • Soldering brass components according to specifications and drawings.
  • Operating and maintaining soldering equipment, including torches and soldering irons.
  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning and applying fluxes.
  • Applying solder with precision to ensure proper flow and penetration.
  • Inspecting soldered joints for defects and reworking as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety regulations, including PPE usage.
  • Potentially preparing brazing solutions or silver solder applications.
  • Following procedures and keeping accurate records.
  • Learning new soldering techniques as required.
  • Reporting issues and maintaining good communication.
Candidate requirements:
  • Prior experience in soldering metals (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of safe brass handling practices (preferred).
