Job summary

Holt Engineering is working with a PCB manufacturing company in Fareham seeking an experienced solderer. You will solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering, following drawings and IPC standards.

Occasional microscope work may be required to ensure precision. The role requires PCB soldering experience and the ability to understand technical drawings, with focus on Class 2/3 IPC standards and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• PCB soldering experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Soldering to IPC Class 2/3 standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow technical drawings and solder to required standards.
• Solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering.
• Solder to IPC standards and solder small components to PCBs.
• Operate under a microscope when required.

Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham, Due to an ever-expanding order book our clients are looking for experienced solderers.

As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering.

Duties for the Solderer:

• Following technical drawings and solderer to required.


• Soldering to IPC standards.


• Soldering small components to PCBs.


• Soldering with a microscope at times.

To be a successful Solderer you must:

• PCB soldering experience


• Be able to understand technical drawings


• Solder to Class 3/class 2 standards


• Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadline

For the successful Solderer, you will:

• Early finish on Fridays

The working hours are:

• Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30pm

Paying between £12.71 - £15 Per Hour (depending on experience)
