Due to security clearance requirements, candidates must be a UK national, hold a British passport, have single nationality status, and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

What will I be doing?
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and acting as a key technical point of contact during out-of-hours emergency support, 24/7.
  • Supporting disaster recovery (DR) testing across multiple virtual platforms.
  • Remediating security vulnerabilities identified by the compliance team.
  • Performing planned change work during off-hours maintenance windows.
  • Assisting in the setup, configuration, and support of Linux and Windows servers as needed.
  • Contributing to innovation and development of new or improved infrastructure products and services.
  • Continuously developing expertise across a wide range of infrastructure technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide technical support in infrastructure services, responding to incidents and assisting with operational tasks.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of infrastructure projects and scheduled assignments.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure systems, ensuring ongoing reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve infrastructure efficiency and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, including incident logs and configuration records.
  • Apply specialized technical knowledge to address infrastructure-related issues and ensure rapid resolution.
  • Follow established best practices and standards to deliver consistent and high-quality infrastructure services.
  • Utilize your technical skillset to manage and resolve infrastructure incidents effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated technical experience within enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in Unix-based systems.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, system diagnostics, and server administration tools.
  • A mindset of continuous learning, keeping up to date with industry advancements and emerging technologies.
Other Qualifications:
  • An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience working with Oracle Solaris, AIX, or related enterprise Unix platforms.
  • Familiarity with security standards, compliance, and vulnerability remediation processes.
  • Previous experience working in a shift-based or out-of-hours support environment is advantageous.
What we can offer you:
