Overview

A respected name in energy efficiency and technical building solutions is expanding rapidly, with a specialist Solar PV department experiencing double-digit growth year on year. They are seeking a qualified Electrician to play a pivotal role in delivering solar PV projects to high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. This is a key opportunity for an experienced and passionate electrician who thrives on delivering quality installations and is ready to support the next generation of talent through apprentice training. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults while maintaining safety standards.
  • Design and install indoor/outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Conduct inspection and testing of systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Ensure all installations comply with national electrical safety standards and building regulations.
  • Support and mentor an apprentice electrician four days per week (subject to availability).
  • Liaise with subcontractors and customers to coordinate site activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years\' electrical industry experience.
  • Recognised solar PV qualifications (BPEC or equivalent, e.g. MCS, BESS, Napit).
  • NVQ Level 3 technical qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds BS7671 Level 3).
  • Full UK driving licence.
