Qualifications
- You hold Electrical Installation /Electrical Engineering Level 2 and Level 3 Qualifications.

Requirements
- You are a team player, willing to get stuck in and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- (Desirable) IET 18th Edition (BS7671) Level 3.
- You hold Electrical Installation /Electrical Engineering Level 2 and Level 3 Qualifications and/or an electrical engineering university degree.
- (Desirable) NVQ Level 3.
- Knowledge of, or an interest in Solar PV, Battery, EV charger, and Heat Pump installations.
- (Desirable) Experience with solar, EV charging or heat pump installations, and solar design software (e.g., OpenSolar, PVSol, PVSyst, etc.).
- Good knowledge of wiring regulations (having an 18th Edition qualification is preferred but not required).

What the job involves
- As a Solar Technical Associate at Sunsave, you will be responsible for planning and supporting the delivery of residential solar installations through our installation partners.
- You will be a technical expert within Sunsave’s Operations Team, supporting team members in coordinating installation projects and providing escalated technical support for installed customers.
- You will become a subject matter expert on solar and battery storage installation, reviewing and signing off solar designs and answering challenging technical queries from the sales team.
- Conducting surveys of Sunsave’s customer properties to assess feasibility for installation of solar and other renewable tech.
- Using information from Sunsave’s remote surveys to create outline installation plans and communicate these to installers.
- Provide your expertise to support the Customer Operations team when handling technical queries from customers, before and after installation.
- This is primarily a desk-based role, reporting into the Technical Manager. However, there will be opportunities for you to travel to site and even get on the tools occasionally if this is something you want to do.
