Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are seeking a Service Engineer specialising in solar installation across a West Yorkshire patch. Based in Leeds, you will install, commission and maintain solar PV systems while travelling to customer sites in your designated area with a company vehicle.

You will diagnose faults, provide technical support, and ensure electrical testing meets standards. A full UK driving licence and 18th Edition are required, with on-going training and progression opportunities

Qualifications

Experience as a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Service Engineer or similar.
Strong technical knowledge of solar and electrical systems.
18th Edition qualification.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across West Yorkshire.
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems.
Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment.
Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards.
Travel to customer sites across the West Yorkshire patch using a company vehicle.
Manage your own diary and workload with no on-call requirement.
