LaPlante Electric Inc. in Scarborough, ME is looking to hire a full-time Solar Sales Representative to help prospective clients decide which of our solar and heat pump options best fit their needs. This outside sales position earns a competitive salary of $150,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN SOLAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As an Solar Sales Representative, your exceptional customer service skills help you flawlessly close Solar sales. Our fantastic customer care team sets up your appointments and your warm, friendly demeanor sets the tone for a positive interaction. Your professionalism makes potential clients feel comfortable inviting you into their homes so you can assess their needs in person. You create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing. Your knowledge of our products and services allows you to offer the best possible recommendations as to which options might be best for them.

It's easy for clients to tell that you're empathetic and truly listening as you help them make informed decisions. You love meeting new people and feel good about having helped improve your clients' homes at great prices!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOLAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • At least 3 years of sales experience (required)
  • Door-to-door sales experience ()
  • Knowledge of solar energy, and heat pumps
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dependable

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time outside sales rep position works a typical schedule of Monday - Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Willingness to provide weekend coverage would be a huge plus!
