Job summary

Valoris in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Solar PV Technician / Service Engineer to install, maintain and service solar PV, battery storage and EV charging points across domestic and commercial sites. The role involves system commissioning, fault-finding, liaising with manufacturers, and performing drone-inspection based checks. Ongoing training and a stable career in renewables are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing cert
• CSCS/ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• SSSTS or SMSTS

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and servicing of solar PV, battery storage, and EV charge points.
• Mix of domestic and commercial systems.
• System commissioning and fault-finding.
• Liaising with manufacturers for advanced tech support.
• Use of drone equipment for inspections.
• Registering and monitoring systems via manufacturer portals.
