Job summary

Rullion is seeking a skilled Solar Roofing Installer to support our Net Zero team delivering Solar PV and Battery Storage installations in customers' homes across the UK. Working with qualified electricians, you will ensure high workmanship, safety standards and excellent customer service.

This role requires roofing expertise, proactive mindset, and willingness to travel nationwide. You will transport equipment, perform pre-work checks, install mounting rails, assist with conduit routing, and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing Occupations (Roof Slating & Tiling) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience installing domestic Solar PV roofing systems.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of MCS installation standards.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and NRSWA.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying site conditions.
• Willingness to stay away from home and work nationwide when required.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Transport installation equipment, materials and tools to and from customer sites.
• Prepare on-site, carry out pre-work inspections and safety checks.
• Safely move equipment, install mounting rails and route conduits with electricians.
• Complete Solar PV installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are compliant, maintained and fit for purpose.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards.
