Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Solar Roofing Installer to join its Net Zero team. You will install Solar PV roofing systems on domestic properties across the UK, working alongside qualified electricians to deliver high-quality, safe renewable energy solutions.

The role requires roofing expertise, a proactive mindset and a commitment to customer service, with occasional nationwide travel and compliance with CDM 2015 and MCS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience installing domestic Solar PV roofing systems (2+ years).
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Roofing Occupations or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of MCS installation standards.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and NRSWA.

Responsibilities

• Transport installation equipment and materials to sites.
• Prepare and perform site safety checks and risk assessments.
• Install mounting rails for Solar PV systems and assist with wiring routes.
• Support electricians with conduit installation and cable routing.
• Complete Solar PV installations to high standard and maintain safety.
• Deliver professional customer-focused service at all times.
