Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is expanding its Solar PV installation team and seeks a Roofer's Mate to support UK wide projects. You will assist with moving materials, assisting electricians, and working on slate/tile pitched roofs.

We offer a £30,000 base salary with overtime, training uplift, a £2,500 annual KPI bonus, a company vehicle and weekly lunch allowance. London weighting may apply if near M25.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Movement and lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation.
