Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented Solar PV Design Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization with a focus on renewable energy and sustainability. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, contribute technical expertise, and be a key player in delivering high-quality solar PV designs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Solar PV systems, with a focus on commercial rooftop installations
2. Conduct site visits to gather data for system designs
3. Meet with clients to discuss designs and provide expert advice
4. Provide technical support and guidance to both customers and colleagues
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest Solar PV technology and developments
6. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Current Electrical Qualifications
2. Proven experience in Solar PV Design, ideally with knowledge of software like PV Sol or similar
3. Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Enhanced DBS Certificate required, or a willingness to obtain one
