Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking a Solar PV Installer to join our UK-wide installation teams. This full-time role covers site-based work on commercial rooftop and ground-mounted systems, with nationwide travel and staying away as required.

You will assemble mounting systems, install rails and brackets, and follow drawings to exact specifications. The ideal candidate has Solar PV installation experience, practical fitting skills, a driving licence with own vehicle, and a commitment to high safety

Solar PV Installer

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Travel / Staying Away Package

Position: Full Time

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters / Solar PV Installers to join commercial Solar PV installation teams working across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Solar PV mounting systems
• Install rails, brackets and associated equipment
• Work on commercial rooftop and ground-mounted systems
• Follow drawings and installation specifications
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Support snagging and rectification works
• Work safely at height and in accordance with RAMS

Requirements

• Solar PV installation experience
• Mechanical fitting / installation experience
• Roofing, steelwork or construction background beneficial
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Good H&S awareness
• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence & Own vehicle
• Happy to travel and stay away nationwide
• Working at Height qualifications are advantageous
