Flare Electrical & Solar Contractors is seeking a Solar PV Installer to join our Sevenoaks-based team. You will support commercial solar installations, battery storage, and ground mounts, with DC/AC cabling, panel mounting, and on-site wiring.

The role is permanent, PAYE, with an 8:00–16:30 schedule, occasional early starts and overtime. Candidates should have electrical installation experience, solar PV exposure, an ECS card, a clean UK driving licence, and a proactive team spirit.

Qualificações

• Previous electrical installation experience (not necessarily fully qualified).
• Solar PV experience preferred (6-12 months ideal).
• ECS card.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Professional, positive, team-first attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with PV installs including mounting systems, panels, and inverter set-ups.
• Running DC & AC cabling and installing containment.
• Supporting connections, labelling, and tidy final fix.
• Helping with commissioning, testing, and fault finding.
• Keeping sites safe, clean, and organised.
• Taking instruction from Site Manager/Supervisor.
• Representing Flare professionally on customers' properties or sites.

Solar PV Installer

Pay -£30,000-£40,000 basic salary, depending on skill, qualifications and experience

Location - Based in Sevenoaks, working across the South East / South

Hours: Monday -Friday 08:00am - 4:30pm

(Occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend/overtime as projects require)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for capable Solar PV installers to support our installation team on commercial installations, battery storage installation and ground mount systems.

Role snapshot

• Support Solar PV, ground mount and battery installations
• DC/AC cabling, containment, panel mounting
• Work alongside Lead Installer and Supervisor
• Learn commissioning and testing
