Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is recruiting a Solar PV Electrician in Crewe with a £55,000 salary. This permanent, full-time role (Mon-Fri) includes a company van. Join a major UK organisation investing in renewable energy and build a long-term career.

You'll install and commission domestic Solar PV systems, handle AC/DC wiring, inverters and battery storage, perform testing and diagnostics, ensure standards compliance, and deliver top-quality customer handovers with safety and service at the core.

Qualifications

• Installing and commissioning domestic Solar PV systems.
• Completing AC and DC wiring and consumer unit connections.
• Installing and configuring inverters and battery storage systems.
• Electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
• Ensuring installations comply with BS 7671, MCS and G98/G99 requirements.
• Completing commissioning certificates and installation documentation.
• Working closely with the wider installation team.
• Carrying out professional customer handovers.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

Full UK Driving Licence

Education

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Inspection & Testing qualification - 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent
