Are you an experienced Electrician with hands‑on Solar PV experience looking for a permanent role where you can focus on the installation work rather than chasing leads, quoting jobs or running your own diary?
We’re supporting an established and growing UK renewable energy business as they continue building their directly employed engineering teams across the North West.
This is a permanent, hands‑on position focused on the electrical side of domestic Solar PV installations, with separate roofing teams completing the roof‑side works.
You’ll have your jobs planned for you, equipment and specialist tooling provided, and the backing of an established office and technical team.
You’ll be responsible for the electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover of domestic renewable energy systems across Manchester and the wider North West.
You’ll need to be a properly qualified Electrician with genuine hands‑on Solar PV experience.
Experience with battery storage, EV charging, Tesla Powerwall or other renewable technologies would be useful, but isn’t essential.
ECS / Gold Card and Inspection & Testing qualifications would also be advantageous.
This is not subcontracting, agency work or a role where you’re expected to find your own jobs.
You’ll be joining a growing directly employed renewables team with the work planned for you, dedicated roofing support and the opportunity to develop across Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and wider home‑energy technologies
