A leading renewable energy company in the UK seeks a specialist Solar PV Electrician for contract work in Cambridge and Peterborough. The role involves performing one PV wire up per day, with the potential for ongoing work. Applicants must have relevant qualifications, including NVQ level 3 and City & Guilds Testing & Inspection. Understanding of health and safety regulations is essential. A clean DBS is required for this position.

Example Recruitment Group are partnering with a leader in Renewable Energy who have an immediate start for a specialistSolar PV Electrician to cover work on a contract basis in Cambridge and Peterborough. You must have your own van & tools and want to cover work between Cambridge and Peterborough covering the following geographical areas:

• Fenland DC
• Peterborough CC
• Cambridge CC

You will allocate one job per day on a regular basis with the contract having scope to be ongoing at these volumes.

Rate:

• £340 per Solar PV wire upincluding wire (AC) and consumables and the company to supply DB board.

Role:

• Sub-contractor PV electricians with solar qualifications to carry out PV wire ups to do the internal wire up as all the roof work will be done prior by a separate team.
• 1 x PV wire up per day and this is ongoing beyond Christmas if all goes well.

Requirements:

• NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification
• City & Guilds Testing & Inspection - 2391/ 2394 & 2395
• An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
• IPAF and PASMA are not essential but desirable.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
• Clean DBS
