Solar PV Electrician

Package:

£40,000 - £45,000 salary

Overtime paidAlecto Recruitment are partnering with a leading renewable energy company based in Kent who are now looking to appoint a Solar PV Electrician.

The Role:

As Solar PV Electrician, you will be responsible for instructing your team members and executing a professional install job. You will work hands on with your crew while installing a wide range of Solar PV panels on both Domestic and Commercial properties across Kent, London and the Home Counties. You will ensure the installation is executed properly, safely, and to the high standards, all whilst providing excellent customer service

Responsibilities:

Plan PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions

Measure, cut, and assemble the support structure for solar PV panels

Install solar modules, panels, and support structures in accordance with building codes and standards

Mentor and teach trainee installers

Connect PV panels to the electrical system (if electrically trained)

Activate and test PV systems

Perform routine PV system maintenance

Key Skills and Competencies

Proven experience of managing teams

SSSTS qualification ideal but not essential
