Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Solar PV Project Manager in Leicestershire. You will own the full lifecycle of commercial/industrial electrical installations and renewable energy projects, including Solar PV and battery storage, with nationwide site travel from our Leicester head office.

The role suits an Electrical Project Manager with commercial contracting experience and Solar PV exposure, offering long-term responsibility and development opportunities.

Are you an Electrical Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Solar PV Project Manager looking to take full ownership of high-value commercial projects, with the backing of an established contractor that's growing its renewables capability?

On offer is a permanent role with a well-established electrical contracting and renewable energy business, where you'll manage a varied portfolio of commercial/industrial electrical installations alongside Solar PV and battery storage projects, with nationwide site travel as required.

You'll join a company with 28+ years' industry experience, known for delivering quality work across the commercial, industrial and public sectors. You'll work closely with experienced Project Managers, in-house Designers and company Directors, with support for relevant training where required.

In this role you'll take projects from contract award through to completion-owning programme, procurement, subcontractors, budgets and handover-ensuring safe, on-time delivery and strong commercial performance. There are no hands-on installation duties.

This role would suit an Electrical Project Manager from a commercial electrical contracting background, ideally with Solar PV experience, looking for long-term responsibility, technical variety and ongoing development.

The Role

• Manage commercial/industrial electrical installation projects and renewable energy projects (Solar PV / battery storage)
• Full project lifecycle ownership: costing, procurement, subcontractor management, delivery and handover
• Commercial responsibility: budgets, profitability, client and supply-chain relationships
• Based from the Leicester head office with nationwide site travel as required
• Permanent, salaried role (no hands-on installation duties)
