Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure optimal performance of large-scale solar assets
  • Perform operations and maintenance across solar sites
  • Adhere to all HSE requirements
  • Test DC and AC systems for faults and troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct firmware updates and utilize computer systems for diagnostics
  • Obtain Authorised Person status after training
  • Regular inspection, maintenance, and testing of systems
  • Analyze data for trends and suggest operational improvements
  • Assist with tasks like solar panel cleaning, ground maintenance, and site CCTV as needed
  • Be flexible to work outside your designated area when required

Professional qualifications

  • Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent
  • C&G 2391 or similar qualification preferred
  • Experience in solar or BESS environments is highly desirable
