Solar PV Fitter x3 – Job Description

About the Company:

A well-established business providing a range of renewable solutions to commercial and domestic clients across the UK. Their services include solar installations, low-carbon heating, electric vehicle charging, and related technologies, supporting clients in reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.

The Role:

Reporting to the Lead Installer, you will be part of an experienced team delivering photovoltaic systems. The role focuses on completing installations to a high standard of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Activities:

• Reviewing project plans and ensuring installations are completed to specification

• Assembling solar arrays, managing any roof penetrations, installing equipment, and configuring monitoring systems

• Upholding quality assurance processes with an emphasis on safety

• Identifying and resolving any technical or operational issues

• Communicating professionally with clients and addressing questions or concerns

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in solar PV installation

• Confident working on roof and ground mount systems

• Knowledge of micro and string inverters and monitoring setup

• General construction experience (roofing, electrical, carpentry)

• Awareness of health and safety regulations

• Professional, reliable, and detail-focused with good customer service skills
