Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Solar PV supervisor for commercial builds on a permanent basis. The role is hands-on and involves leading a team on solar PV installations, including fixing brackets, rigging, and prep work for commercial sites across Devon and Cornwall, with occasional remote projects.

The candidate should have solar installer, roofing, or electrical background, be professional and versatile, and hold CSCS/ECS or JIB cards.

Qualifications

• Previous solar PV experience required.
• Willing to travel – accommodation paid and travel provided.
• Driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team for solar PV installations.
• Hands-on role including installing brackets, rigging and prep work.
• Ensure safety, quality and timely completion of projects.

Solar PV supervisor – Commercial build
£30,000 – £35000 Van & Fuel card Bonus Negotiable

This is a permanentrole working with a leading solar PV installation & renewable energy contractor who’s focus is solar PV installations and servicing to commercial properties. They cover many areas around Devon and Cornwall and also work away on projects further afield. These types of jobs would come with accommodation paid, travelpaid and bonuses.

Our client is seeking someone from a solar installer background, roofing background or electrical background. The job would involve working within a team as a team leader/supervisor. It will be hands on and may be suitable for a multi trade operative that has experience in any of the above areas. It is essential that you have experience in installing solar panels for you to be able to lead the team, fixing brackets, rigging, roofing, prep work for solar installs
