Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Solar Estimator to join a fast-growing renewables company in Reading. You will take ownership of pricing, tender management and the commercial pipeline development for domestic and commercial solar projects.

The role involves carrying out pre-installation surveys, producing documentation and reports, and professionally liaising with customers to answer technical questions and determine job requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical background or understanding of residential or commercial electrical systems.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671) qualification or equivalent electrical qualification (Preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation and reports for pre-installation surveys.
• Carry out pre-installation surveys of domestic and commercial projects.
• Liaise with customers and clients to answer technical questions and assess job requirements.
• Support pricing, tender management and the commercial pipeline development.

Are you an Electrical Estimator or have a electrical, solar PV or technical background looking to join a fast growing solar where you can take ownership of pricing, tender management and commercial pipeline development?

In this field-based the Successful Estimator will oversee carrying out pre-installation surveys of both domestic and commercial projects, providing documentation and reports, liaising with customers and clients to answer technical questions and assessing job requirements.

This role would suit an Electrical Estimator or someone with electrical, solar PV or technical knowledge, looking to join a rapidly growing renewables company that provides excellent training and offers great paths for progression.
