Job Title: Solar Electrician

Location: Nottingham, Derby, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas

Salary: £42,000 + Package

Solar Electrician based in and around Nottinghamshire area. The ideal candidate shall be an approved electrician, have previous experience or technical knowledge of Solar PV systems to carry out maintenance on Solar Farms. Rooftop or Groundmount experience.

About Us: A leading PV specialist within Europe focusing on Operation & Maintenance and Asset Management of existing and operational solar projects.

Position: O&M Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation of Cabling and Modules on the arrays.
2. Terminate cables and connectors at, DC and AC distribution boxes.
3. Install cabling on monitoring and communication equipment (data logger, routers, sensors etc).
4. Fault Identification on electrical components, comms equipment and monitoring equipment by means of testing.
5. Carry out annual testing (string testing, DC main cable testing, IV curve testing and thermal imaging).

Requirements:

1. Hold a vocational qualification (NVQ LV3) in the electrical industry.
2. Hold 2391 test and inspect or equivalent.
3. Have National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificate.
4. Hold a ECS Electrician Gold Card or in the process of obtaining (we can assist).
