Job summary

ARM LIMITED is seeking experienced Solar Electricians to install and commission Solar PV systems, BESS and EV charging points across London, Essex, and Suffolk with occasional work in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Roles can be permanent PAYE or self-employed. Most work on private homes and public contracts with an active project pipeline.

Candidates should have NVQ in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and driving license. ECS/CSCS is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2+ in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Experience installing Solar PV systems.
• Desirable: Battery storage and EV charger installations.
• ECS/CSCS card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems.
• Install Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Install EV charging points.
• Work on private residential properties, Housing Association and Council contracts.
• Travel across London, Essex, Suffolk and occasionally Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Solar Electrician / Solar PV Electrician Essex | London | Suffolk | Permanent or Self-Employed

We're looking for experienced Solar Electricians / Solar PV Electricians to join a growing renewable energy contractor delivering residential renewable energy installations across London, Essex and Suffolk, with occasional work in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Whether you're looking for a permanent PAYE role or prefer to work self-employed, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of:

• Solar PV systems
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• EV Charging Points

The majority of work is on private residential properties, alongside Housing Association and Council contracts, with an excellent pipeline of work across the region.

We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience installing Solar PV systems.
• Experience with battery storage and EV charger installations is highly desirable.
• ECS/CSCS Card (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Happy to travel across London, Essex, Suffolk and occasionally Cambridgeshire and Norfolk
